The model tag, and what it's doing. That's how I turn up with the right part instead of coming back a second time.
You get a text when I'm leaving. If I'm running late you hear it from me first, not from the clock.
Exact number after I diagnose it. Nothing starts until you say yes, and that number doesn't move. Find a second fault later — I stop and price it separately.
Invoice and before/after photos the same day. One year on parts, 120 days on labor — if it fails, I come back free.

Every price includes parts, labor and the diagnostic — one number, approved by you before I start. These cover the common failures. Control boards and sealed-system work cost more, and built-in and luxury brands — Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele — run above these ranges because their parts do. See the table below; you'll always have the number before I order anything.

Questions
Weeknights until 7pm and Saturdays until 3pm. Sunday is emergency only, at $95 over the normal rate. That's when most people are actually home.
$99 covers the trip and the diagnosis. If you go ahead with the repair, it's folded into the repair price and you don't pay it separately. If you decide not to repair, the $99 buys you a written finding — what failed, what the repair involves, and my repair-or-replace recommendation — yours to use anywhere.
No — and anyone who does is guessing. The same symptom comes from two or three different parts, and the price is different for each one. What I can tell you is what the visit costs: $99, folded into the repair if you go ahead. Once I've found the fault you get one flat number, and nothing gets repaired until you approve it. Send a photo of the model tag anyway — normally on the door jamb or the back — it's how I turn up with the right part instead of coming back twice.

Send the model number with your request and I'll check that parts for it are still being made before I come out. The firm price comes once I've found the fault, and nothing gets repaired until you approve it. Built-in and luxury units take longer to reach and their parts cost far more, so the diagnostic is $119 and the repair runs above the ranges on this page.
It happens, and control boards are the usual reason — one failure can mask another, and the second one only shows itself once the first is fixed. When that happens I stop, show you what I found, and give you a price for that part and the labor to fit it. You decide whether to go ahead. The price you already approved doesn't change, and nothing lands on your invoice that you didn't say yes to.
One year on the parts I install, 120 days on my labor. If a part fails within 120 days, the return visit and the replacement cost you nothing. Between 120 days and a year, the part is still covered — you pay only the labor to fit it.
